When the fields were covered in snow, many Meadow Pipits and Skylarks searched for something edible along the shores of the Wadden Sea.
They themselves were on the menu for the Hen Harrier, which tried to catch them by surprise.
At first I only saw one Hen Harrier but after spending the rest of the afternoon, I counted at least six individuals, including two adult males.
